Since I was in medical school, I have wanted to write a book. I find it fascinating how some books are able to evoke emotions and open my mind to thoughts I never had. My dream is to someday be able to do that. There were many excuses I gave myself to procrastinate writing, but I found inspiration in Atul Gawande, a Harvard surgeon who wrote one of my favorite books, “Being Mortal.”
I recently graduated from residency, and I am excited about starting a new chapter of my life as a pediatrician. This blog intends to share my experiences as a pediatrician, but I will also write about my personal life, dreams, and fears.
My ultimate purpose is to develop the writing skills necessary to fulfill my dream of writing a book. Therefore, I encourage my readers to comment and provide feedback.
Thank you for reading my blog. Wish me luck!.
Sincerely
Natalie Vega
